Version 1.7.0

The Auto Planner feeds new chains from machines a model already has, identical buildings merge into one node, new extractors start at a default node purity, and large models stay smooth.

  • Auto Planner builds on your model. Planning again in a model that already makes a part feeds the new chain from those machines instead of building a second chain. They grow to cover it. Switch it off with Use existing production on the Rules & review step.
    • Locked machines, machine count limits, fixed extractor counts and outputs with a limit stay as they are. The target you plan always gets its own node.
    • Messages counts the existing nodes a plan used.
  • Merge identical buildings. Right-click a node, or a selection, to fold identical machines and extractors into one node that keeps every connection. The solver sizes it to the total.
    • Machine count limits, extractor counts and port limits add up.
    • A group stays apart when only some of it has a limit, port limits bind differently, a connection leaving it has a share, or a lock is involved. The notice counts those groups.
    • One Undo splits them again.
  • Default node purity. New Resource nodes card under Machine defaults in Settings. New extractors start at the purity you pick, such as Pure on a save of pure nodes.
    • Palette, Auto Planner and Modular Miners use it. Placed extractors, pastes, blueprints and imports keep theirs.
  • Large models stay smooth. Panning, zooming, selecting and solving no longer redraw every card and connection, so a model with hundreds of nodes no longer drops to a few frames per second.
    • Above 120 cards, the connections of a selection stop flowing, built connections lose their glow, and overclock lightning and Somersloop stripes are left out. Colours still show each state.
    • Below 35% zoom such a canvas shows card outlines and hides connection labels. Larger text when zoomed out still shows names and figures.
    • Closed dropdowns no longer follow every pan, and image previews and card bodies are only built when they open.
  • Right-click in a box selection. A right-click on a card of a Shift box selection, or between its cards, opens the card menu instead of Add a node. A double click on such a card edits it.
