Production Planner
Turn "I want X per minute" into a complete, buildable factory plan.
The Production Planner turns “I want X per minute” into a complete, buildable factory plan. Every recipe, building, and raw resource is worked out for you and drawn as a clear diagram. No spreadsheets, no math.
The notice below each planner page heading links to the Production Modeler download.
Create your first plan
Section titled “Create your first plan”Open the planner, click New Plan, and work through the six guided steps:
If the shared Satisfactory and Satisfactory Plus catalog is still loading, the wizard and planner workspace wait on a themed factory screen and appear only when their data is ready. The saved-plan landing page keeps its compact card placeholders so the list can load independently.
- Savegame (optional, skippable) upload a Satisfactory
.savfile to auto-detect which recipes and buildings you’ve already unlocked. No account is needed for this: the save is parsed and thrown away, never stored. Skip it to start with everything unlocked and manage availability by hand instead. - Target choose an item or a specific recipe. A recipe automatically uses its first output as the target and pins that recipe to it.
- Outputs enter the amount per minute, add more desired outputs, and optionally force a final recipe for each output.
- Strategy choose up to two planning priorities and decide whether the plan may use alternate recipes, overclocking, automatic sinking, and compact recipe groups.
- Availability open the Recipe, Building, and Raw Resource catalogs to define what the solver may use. Enabled counts update immediately, while forced recipes remain protected from accidental disabling. The Required Recipes tile lets you pick recipes (from the currently allowed set) that must appear somewhere in the solved chain, even with no organic demand for them the solver still decides the quantity.
- Review check outputs, strategy, availability, and any configuration warnings, then click Create Plan. The complete chain is calculated as the planner opens.
The step list scrolls horizontally on phones. On tablets and desktop it stays visible vertically to the right of the active step, so you can see where you are and return to an earlier completed step.
What you’ll see
Section titled “What you’ll see”You land on the canvas, where your factory is drawn as connected blocks. Each block is one production step. The lines between them show how resources flow, and the card-based side panels summarise build progress, power, buildings, raw inputs, balance, snapshots, and more. You can also switch the same calculation to a text checklist or expandable tree.
Where to go next
Section titled “Where to go next”- Canvas basics: move around, connect, and edit blocks.
- Building plans: pick recipes, configure miners, add notes.
- Panels: read your factory’s totals at a glance.
- Saving & sharing: keep, snapshot, export, and share plans.
