Saving & Sharing
Cloud saves, snapshots, import/export, sharing, and comparing plans.
Your work is kept safe and easy to share.
Planner home
Section titled “Planner home”The planner home separates the current browser-local plan from cloud plans. Responsive plan cards show their main outputs and status at a glance; open a card to continue, or use its action menu to export, clone, change visibility, copy a link, or delete it. You can also import a plan or start from a community template without opening an existing session first.
Cloud & local saving
Section titled “Cloud & local saving”A new plan lives in your browser only. Turn cloud saving on for it and every later change is saved to your account as you work; a plan you open from your account already has it on. The toggle sits in the sidebar footer next to the save status, and it is per plan rather than per account, so signing in does not by itself upload anything.
Switching cloud saving off asks what should happen to the copy already in your account: delete it, or keep it as it is and stop updating it.
How many plans an account may keep is on the Patreon page.
Snapshots
Section titled “Snapshots”Take a labelled snapshot before a big change so you can jump back to it later. Cloud saving must be on to use snapshots. A free account keeps three snapshots per plan, a Patreon account as many as it likes.
Import & export
Section titled “Import & export”Download a plan as a .pp.json file to back it up or share it; import one the
same way. Older files are upgraded automatically on load.
Sharing
Section titled “Sharing”Make a plan public to share a view-only link. Anyone with the link can look but not edit.
The active workspace view and sidebar panel are included in the URL. A copied planner link can therefore open directly in the same Flow, Text, or Tree view and panel.
Public plan browser
Section titled “Public plan browser”The Public Plans page lists every plan the community shared publicly templates included. Each card shows the plan’s targets, the recipes it pins, its tags, and how long ago it changed.
Filter the list with the same deep filters the planner home uses: free text across plan names, items, recipes, buildings and tags, plus output items, used recipes and buildings, each picked in the planner’s own catalog dialog (icons, search and the catalog’s own filters, limited to what the listed plans actually contain), a tags filter, a category filter, a “templates only” switch, and sorting by last update, name, or number of targets. Selecting several tags narrows to plans carrying all of them; selecting several items, recipes, or buildings widens to plans matching any of them.
View opens the shared plan read-only, Copy to my plans seeds a fresh local plan from it, and the link button copies a direct link to that plan.
Community templates
Section titled “Community templates”The Templates page contains public plans that can be reused as starting points. Search by plan, item, recipe, or building; filter by category; then choose Use template to create a separate local plan and calculate it immediately. The source template is not edited.
Signed-in users can publish a saved cloud plan with a category, copy its direct template link, and unpublish it later. If using a template would replace an unsaved local plan, the planner asks for confirmation first.
Comparing plans
Section titled “Comparing plans”Put two plans side by side to compare power, buildings, inputs, and outputs. This is handy for choosing between approaches. Either side can compare a saved snapshot instead of the live plan, so you can see exactly what changed since you took it.
