Images & icons
Browse mod icons and RSS textures, or add your own images by URL.
The Icon & image browser is where every texture comes from. Open it with Add element → Image, or from the inspector when an image or effect element is selected.
The three tabs
Section titled “The three tabs”| Tab | What is in it |
|---|---|
| Game & mod icons | Item, building and schematic icons extracted from the installed mods. |
| RSS sign images | The sign textures that Refined Sign Systems itself ships arrows, symbols, plates. |
| My Images | Images you added yourself, by URL. |
Finding an image
Section titled “Finding an image”Search matches names, tags and descriptions, so a rough word usually finds the right thing even when the exact name is different.
Two filters narrow it further:
- Mod which mod the asset came from, by its real name (for example
Fluid Extras, not
ab_fluidextras). - Type the kind of asset: item, building, schematic, and so on.
Each card shows the mod and type it belongs to. Where a wiki entry exists, a small book icon in the corner opens the k-mods wiki for it.
Using one
Section titled “Using one”Click a card to use it. If you opened the browser from Add element → Image, it creates a new element; if you opened it from a selected element, it swaps that element’s texture and leaves its position and size alone.
You can also drag a card straight onto the canvas to drop the image exactly where you want it.
My Images
Section titled “My Images”Anything the built-in catalog does not cover, you add yourself.
-
Open the My Images tab and click Add.
-
Paste a direct image URL and give it a name.
-
Save. It is now available in every design on your account.
Free accounts can keep 50 custom images. Patreon supporters have no limit.
